NYC Some Positive Holiday Weekend News
Good morning everyone. We have and dry and fairly spectacular workweek unfolding as we speak. Today is on the very mild to warm side and we’ll tamper things down a bit, but we remain mild and sunny throughout. Also we have some positive news for the holiday weekend. It won’t be 100% perfect, but we also won’t be like the Southeast, trapped in the doom and gloom.
SATELLITE
For today we have pretty much reach out highs, with 75-80 degree temps being recorded throughout the area; slightly cooler at the shore.
We’ll repeat the sunshine, but we’ll see 70-75 degree temps tomorrow.
WEATHER RADAR
70-75 degree temps dominate Wednesday through Friday, plus sunshine even on Friday as high pressure protects us from the gloom. That being said, we will pay a price Thursday and Friday with a steady maritime flow, which will equate to a cooler breeze and rough conditions around the inlets for boaters.
Clouds begin to sneak in later on Friday, and we’ll see sun & clouds Saturday through Monday. Saturday and Sunday, we could see a few scattered showers, but we’re not talking about a complete washout. The best day of the three remains Monday, where if we can dry out and see a little but more sun, mid 70’s to low 80’s are possible.
