NYC Sunny Cool Sunday Then Gloom Returns
Good foggy morning everyone, and it looks like I’ll be saying good foggy morning tomorrow as well. Morning fog has gripped the area for the past couple of days, but the air masses should get moving to clear things out by Sunday. However, we will have a very cool day even with the sunshine, then more gloom returns to start the week.

Fog and drizzle continues through late morning/early afternoon, then clouds stick around. Once again, we could see a few blue patches, but the lack of sunshine during the heating hours will hold us in the mid 60’s.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow will be a carbon copy day, with AM Fog/Drizzle, variable cloudiness, and mid 60’s for highs. Things will clear out temporarily as cool high pressure drifts to our north and sends some maritime air our way. We’ll have more sun than clouds, a NE breeze, and highs in the mid 50’s at best.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
The air will modify quickly ahead of our next system, but it’s going to be one of those weeks weather-wise. A large, stretched out system will range from Texas to Maine, with waves of low pressure forming along it, then dying out, as another forms in the South/Southwest. This will give TX, LA, AK, TN, some great opportunities for much needed rain. However, as these waves fall apart going into the Northeast, all we’ll have up here is general cloudiness and the slight chance of some rain.
This will translate into cloudy and a general stretch of mid to upper 60’s Monday though Wednesday, possibly extending into Thursday if the system doesn’t clear out in a timely manner.
