WEATHER IN 5/JOE & JOE WEATHER SHOW PODCASTS
Another NYC Drizzly Day Then Sunny Chilly Sunday
Good morning everyone. We have one more day of drizzly and muggy weather before the sun returns tomorrow. However, it doesn’t last long and the clouds return overnight tomorrow for Monday.
SATELLITE
We remain stuck in the goo with a front off to our west and Epsilon pulling away well well to our East. We never really got any sun this week, but we held onto those 65-70 degree temps expected. Today will be no different, with AM fog, PM variable clouds, and highs a muggy 65-70 with maybe a blue patch or two.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow we clear out, but then clouds will increase late again as a large, stretched out system begins to approach the area. Tomorrow will be on the very cool to chilly side, with a light NE wind and highs in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Monday will be our first chance of rain as a weak wave of low pressure rides along the system that’ll stretch from TX to ME. I don’t expect any rainouts, but clouds will definitely be around and we’ll chance the chance of some on and off showers. Highs will be near 60.
Near 60 temps and cloudy skies will stick around till Thursday, then we may see a little bit more sunshine Thursday before the final wave pushes through on Friday. As far as rain is concerned, we’ll take it day by day, but the best chance remains Monday and Friday before we clear all of this out.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
In the medium-range, your Halloween Weekend is looking very cool/chilly and breezy. It also looks like it could be our first chance to see frost in the NYC/Long Island area.
MANY THANKS TO TROPICAL TIDBITS FOR THE USE OF MAPS
