NYC Warm Day Today, Rain & Cool Move In Tomorrow

Good morning everyone. We have another winner of a day today in the NYC area with warm air pushing up ahead of our next front. It’ll be a breezy one, but nice regardless compared to what’s coming tomorrow. We’ll split the weekend, and next week is looking dry and seasonable for the most part.

SATELLITE

storm free

Our next weather-maker is way off to our west for the time being, paving the way for a somewhat warm day today and dry conditions. Expect highs in the mid 70’s, but cooler at the shore with a stiff southerly breeze gusting near 20-25mph at times in the afternoon.

REGIONAL RADAR

storm free

Clouds increase overnight, and we’ll have the slight chance of some showers in the morning. The chance of rain will increase as the day goes on, and temps will drop once that front passes. Expect highs in the low 60’s, but we’ll be falling into the 50’s as the day goes on. We’ll have some steadier and heavier rain overnight tomorrow and hopefully we get it out of here early on Saturday.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

storm free

So far I don’t think any leftover showers last long on Saturday, with the best chance before 9am. There will be a sharp clearing line, and we should see sunshine by early afternoon. Highs will be near 60 and breezy.

Sunday is the better of the two, with full sunshine, relaxing winds, and highs in the low to mid 60’s.

LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
storm free

Next week is looking dry and seasonal, then we may get into some warmer air by the end of next week with the approach of our next system.
