NYC Warm Saturday Arrives Rainy Monday Sure Bet
Good morning everyone. We have a beautiful day ahead, with unseasonably warm air paying a brief visit before we return to reality tomorrow. Plus, we have the remnants of Hurricane Delta still heading our way for Monday, and that’ll give us a nasty Columbus Day.
SATELLITE
Mostly sunny skies, a nice breeze, and near 80 temps pay a brief visit today before we cool off somewhat tomorrow. Some inland spots may break the 80 mark, and areas by the immediate shore will stay in the low to mid 70’s.
REGIONAL RADAR
Clouds increase tomorrow and winds will shift to the north. Those factors combined will help keep temps in the upper 60’s to near 70. I still believe we stay dry all day, then rain will begin to move in late Sunday night. I suggest everyone keep your outdoor plans, but bring a light jacket for when the sunshine begins to get filtered by the clouds.
Monday will be a good day to make comfort food and watch some movies with the family. Expect pretty much a full washout, with on and off rain all day, heavy at times, and a stiff easterly fetch. Highs Monday will be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s for a raw day.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Tuesday we improve and temps will pop back into the mid to upper 70’s, then we return to more seasonal weather Wednesday onward.
