NYC Wet Weekend Expected
Good morning everyone. If you didn’t know already, we’re expecting a rather nasty weekend with a 2 part show on the way. Clouds have already begun to increase, and we could see some rain by later in the day today.
SATELLITE
Expect lowering and thickening clouds today, highs in the 55-60 range, with some PM showers developing. Tonight will be gusty, raw, and rainy, with lows a very Novermber-like mid to upper 40’s.
We’ll keep that November feel in the air with mid 50’s tomorrow, gusty easterlies, on and off rain, and highs in the mid 50’s.
WEATHER RADAR
Things will settle down temporarily on Sunday, but then another, heavier batch of rain will transit the area. Look for some scattered showers Sunday with more humid conditions and highs in the low 60’s. Expect rain, heavy at times, developing by late afternoon/evening. We could also have a few rumbles of thunder and localized flooding.
We’ll keep the rain in the area for early Monday, then partial clearing late, highs in the low to mid 60’s depending on when the sun returns.
A cool pattern persists for the rest of the workweek, with clouds and sun Tue/Wed with the slight chance of showers and highs near 60; then a little bit more sunshine Thur/Fri with 60-65 degree temps.
