QUIET WEEK AHEAD FOR NYC
After a damp weekend that saw 0.78″ of rainfall, NYC can expect a tranquil week. Columbus Day 2016 will be a cool and breezy day, with sunshine aplenty. Afternoon highs will reach the low 60s. Once the sun sets, temperatures will drop to their lowest point of the season. NYC temperatures on Tuesday morning will be in the 40s. Frost advisories have been issued for parts of New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and the Hudson Valley, where temps will drop into the 30s!
Daytime highs will climb higher over the next few days, eventually peaking near 70 on Thursday. A weak front swinging through late Thursday will bring more clouds, and temperatures will begin to cool down after its passage. -GB
