Rain May Clip NYC Area Overnight Into Tomorrow Morning
Good morning everyone. Smokey, hazy skies continue to plague parts of the Nation, including our area, while the remnants of Sally continue to trudge on with flooding rains in the Southeast. Some of that moisture may creep into the area, but it’ll have a hard time getting much further north, leaving us on the fringe of generally light precipitation.
SATELLITE
Expect warm conditions today with highs near 80. Clouds will increase under hazy skies, and you’ll notice today is more humid than yesterday. Overnight tonight, some of that rain from Sally may make it in, but don’t expect any flooding with this. Lows overnight 55-60.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow morning for the commute, we may be contending with some scattered showers. If the rain doesn’t make it in, we’ll still have generally cloudy skies, then maybe some partial clearing late. It’ll be cool and breezy with highs in the mid to upper 60’s and damp.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Your weekend is sunnier, but not any warmer. Cool air takes up residence all the way into next week. Look for sunny skies and mid to upper 60’s both Saturday and Sunday.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
We’ll extend those 60’s into Monday, then maybe break 70 on Tuesday. Mid to upper 70’s could return by Wednesday and Thursday for more seasonal weather as opposed to below average.
