SUNNY NYC START CLOUDY RAINY NYC FINISH – Good Sunday morning everyone! We’re off to a beautiful start but as expected, but it’s not going to last. Clouds will begin to move in between noon and early afternoon, then lower and thicken as a wave of energy heads down from the Great Lakes. Expect a chance of some rain along with the clouds as the day wears on, highs will peak early in the low to mid 70’s. Overnight, clouds and scattered showers stick around, with a shot at some steadier rain after midnight and into tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, steady rain will be with us on and off for the entire day, with a chance of some rumbles of thunder as well. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. We could also see some localized flooding in the usual spots depending on where the heaviest of rain sets up. Clouds and widely scattered rain will stick around through Thursday morning as everything has a hard time full clearing the area, then we begin to watch and see a push of warm air.
As of now, next weekend is looking warm to very warm, with upper 70’s to low 80’s on Saturday, and possibly mid 80’s+ on Sunday if we get can this warm air to push further north. Mid-week will probably give us the best picture in terms of what to expect, so stay tuned.
