Tropical Storm Claudette Scoots Off The Coast But Increases Moisture

Good morning everyone and happy first full day of Summer! It’ll be very summer-like today with very warm temps and increasing humidity, and you can thank Tropical Storm Claudette for increasing that moisture content along the East Coast. It’ll miss us as it scoots off of the coast, but she’ll help bring some extra clouds into the area; as well as help enhance tonight’s front just enough to get a few heavy showers in here overnight.

Expect morning fog in some coastal spots, some morning clouds away from the coast, then a PM mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the upper 80’s to near 90 with increasing humidity. Overnight our slow moving front will near, and a departing TS Claudette may help enhance the front with some scattered heavy showers.

WEATHER RADAR

Claudette is gone tomorrow but the front remains. Look for a mostly cloudy day with a chance of on and off showers and storms at any point in the day. The best thing to do is keep an eye on the radar to see what pops up and when. Highs will be a muggy 75-80.

We clear things out for a perfect and comfortable Wednesday and Thursday, with sunshine and highs near 80 both days. Humidity will begin to increase on Friday under a mix of sun and clouds & low 80’s. Our weekend remains questionable precip-wise, but are aiming for mid 80’s under humid conditions.
