Very Warm NYC Next Two Days But Pleasant Holiday Weekend Ahead
Good morning everyone. Everything is coming together nicely forecast-wise, and it looks like we’ll get a bonus day on Labor Day Monday with some extra sunshine compared to what we originally thought. Overall, we have a nice 5 days ahead until moisture starts to return up and down the east coast.
SATELLITE
Look for a mix of sun and clouds today, with a very muggy & warm day in the mid to upper 80’s. Depending on the sunshine, a few isolated spots could hit 90. Overnight we’ll have the slight chance of storms as a cold front passes through, but any action will be widely scattered in nature.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow is looking drier and very warm again, with full sunshine, slightly less humidity, and highs in the upper 80’s.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Cool air lags behind that front, finally moving in on Saturday for a very pleasant day. Expect a nice breeze and highs in the 75-80 realm with full sunshine. We’ll do it again on Sunday for a repeat, and highs again 75-80 degrees.
Monday will be our bonus day, but you’ll notice a slight change even though the majority of clouds stay away. Expect a moderate uptick in humidity and highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Clouds will begin to increase on Tuesday, as well as the humidity. We may hold off on any shower activity Tuesday, but look for pop up showers any anytime during the day Wednesday onward as moisture increases along the eastern seaboard. We’ll break down the timing of events next week when the picture becomes more clear.
