BREEZY YET QUIET NYC WEEKEND – Good morning folks! Looking near normal, sunny, dry, and breezy today with highs in the mid 40’s. Tonight we dip down into the mid 30’s, but with the wind it’ll feel like it’s in the 20’s, so bundle up if your heading out on the town. Tomorrow will be a carbon copy of today, with sunny skies and highs in the mid 40’s, but the wind will calm down later in the day. Tomorrow night, clouds increase as a weak system approaches the area. Scattered light showers will mix with and possibly change to some wet snowflakes by Monday morning, but it shouldn’t affect rush hour and we’ll have partial clearing by late morning, highs in the mid to upper 40’s. No accumulation is expected, just some wet roads in areas that do see any rain/snow.

Everything is fairly on schedule aside from the above normal temps i previously expected for 1 day late next week. It looks as if the system will take a more southerly route, keeping cooler air locked into the area. However, we have a better and clearer picture as to what these systems may do, which I will discuss late tomorrow night.
