LATE NYC NOVEMBER REPLACES LATE MAY OVERNIGHT
LATE NYC NOVEMBER REPLACES LATE MAY OVERNIGHT – Good morning everyone! We have another beautiful day ahead with warm temps and sunny skies, but it’s all coming to an end quickly as a backdoor cold front strikes one blow, then a sweeping cold from the west finishes the job.
Look for bright sunshine today and a replay of yesterday’s highs, but changes will begin to happen as we enter late afternoon. Light southwest winds will switch over to the east as our backdoor cold front comes in from New England. Highs 75-80 away from the shore will slowly subside into the 60’s, then plummet into the 40’s overnight. Drizzle, fog, and light rain will drift in overnight as well, then we’ll have temps drop to the upper 30’s to near 40 for tomorrow for a raw, cold, and rainy day.
Overnight tomorrow, the main batch of rain starts to head towards us. Rain will increase in intensity and duration as temps rise through the 40’s with the approaching front. Rain will become steadier and we’ll also have the chance of a few rumbles of thunder for Monday, highs 55-60. Then we drop below normal again for Tuesday, with breezy conditions and sunny skies; highs in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.
Mid-week we return to near normal conditions, with highs in the upper 50’s to near 60. However, another system looks to bring rainy and seemingly cool conditions for next weekend.
At least the snow is over, right?
