MARCH LIKE SUNDAY THROUGHOUT REGION TO FINISH APRIL
Good morning everyone. If you were hoping for a miracle today, I’m in the Angry Weather business, not the miracle business. Clouds are here and showers are knocking on the door. Plus, cooler than average air will put the cherry on top of this gloomy and raw day.
EASTERN SATELLITE
If you’re reading this when it’s hot off the press early this morning, we have a batch of rain about 2-3hrs away and it’ll be with us for a few hours. Don’t expect any big totals, but overall the day is shot if you combine the cool temps and cloudy skies. Highs today in the low to mid 50’s, so keep your activities indoors for the most part.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow will be the only day this week that we see some full sunshine (for a little while), so get out there and enjoy it. Unfortunately, it’ll still be cool as today’s precipitation represents a reinforcing hit of cool air. Clouds begin to roll back in late as our mess of a week begins. Highs tomorrow near 60.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
For the rest of the week, I’m going to take it apart day by day as we go on. We’ll have a front straddling the area with waves of energy moving along it. This means we’ll be pretty much socked in with clouds and a chance of showers at any time Tuesday through Friday. However, if by some long shot we find ourselves south of the front for a few hours during the daytime late-week, we could add some surprise warmth into he forecast. It’s a long shot, so we will hold off on that and also hold off on timing the precipitation. Other than that singular chance of a warm surprise, we’ll be slightly below average in the low to mid 60’s.
