Mother Nature Throws Spring Crumbs To NYC

Mother Nature Throws Spring Crumbs To NYC

Good gloomy morning everyone. Get used to the sight each and every wakeup call this week, with low clouds, fog, and drizzle plaguing the area until some blue patches arrive each afternoon. Mild air has made its way in, but with high pressure in a bad spot, cooler than average ocean temps, and cut-off lows meandering about, will make for a not-so-perfect, but warmer week.

Morning clouds, fog, and drizzle will give way to some sunshine today. Humidity will also be on the rise as we go for mid to upper 70’s. Everything this week is a “now”cast, and we might hit or surpass 80 on any given day if full sunshine breaks out.

Same story for tomorrow, with humidity increasing a little bit more, late blue patches, and upper 70’s. Again, 80 isn’t out of the question if the sun gives us a boost.

On Thursday we increase the moisture and humidity even more, with morning clouds, fog, and drizzle. Late blue patches will again help us into the upper 70’s; 80+ if we get extra sunshine.

Friday will be the “warmest” day, with near 80 temps regardless of sunshine and a muggy day overall. We have the chance of some showers and storms, with a better chance overnight. If we get some extra sunshine, we’ll do an 80-85 degree day.

Showers linger into Saturday morning, with maybe a rumble or two as well. Expect mid to upper 70’s, and maybe some afternoon blue patches.

Sunday is looking like the best day of the bunch in terms of lower humidity, extra sunshine, and a dry day. A breeze will develop though, with low to mid 70’s for highs.
