NYC Beautiful Week Once Clouds & Drizzle Depart
Good afternoon everyone. Clouds and drizzle remain in the picture and things are looking stubborn all the way into tonight. However, we have some clearing coming our way for tomorrow, plus a beautiful weekend ahead. We’re also keeping an eye on the tropics even though there are no immediate or medium-range threats out there for our area.
SATELLITE
We’ll have clouds, drizzle, and overall damp conditions for the rest of the day. NYC has reached 70, but most of the area to the east remains in the 60’s. Clouds and drizzle remain overnight tonight with lows in the mid 60’s.
Clearing ensues tomorrow, but the easterly fetch continues. This will help keep us in the 75-80 range, but at least it’ll be brighter and more dry.
WEATHER RADAR
Full sunshine and near 80 temps make Friday a perfect day, and we’ll keep near 80/low 80 temps around for Saturday and Sunday under full sunshine’s well.
We’ll look for some clouds and possible scattered showers to start the week, but we remain in a seasonable pattern with upper 70’s to low 80’s.
The long range continues to look like an eclectic mix of conditions, ranging from seasonably cool, dry and seasonably warm, to humid and possibly very warm. The tropics remain a concern for me because I don’t like old fronts that can’t clear the area. We’ll be watching closely for any fronts drawing in or creating their own little waves, but nothing is on the horizon as we speak. This is strictly hypothetical and out of caution.
