NYC Bitter Cold Night Expected Tomorrow Night

Good morning everyone. For those who like bitter cold that doesn’t last long enough for snow, and will also miss today’s rain, then this forecast is for you.

SATELLITE

storm free

Our arctic boundary is on the move and ahead of it is one more area of an & off rain we need to get through. Expect showery conditions through early to mid afternoon, then clouds remain stubborn into evening and nighttime. Highs today will be in the 45-50 range.

REGIONAL RADAR

storm free

Very cold air is due in by late morning tomorrow, and anything beyond 30 will drop back into the 25-30 degree mark as the day wears on. Winds will also increase and we should see decent WNW winds clocking in at 15-20mph.

Overnight, temps plunge into the low to mid teens, and areas well N&W of NYC will see some single digits.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

storm free

Winds relax Saturday, but cold air hangs around. Look for sunny skies, dry conditions, and highs in the low 30’s. Overnight Saturday, we’re not nearly as cold as Friday night, which shows the air is quickly modifying.

That’ll reflect on Sunday’s highs, as we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid 40’s.

LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
storm free

Monday looks to be a really nice day, with full sunshine returning and highs in the mid to upper 40’s. Clouds will increase Monday night, and our next system will be poised to bring us a rainy Tuesday, possibly into Wednesday.

Once again, we see no major snowstorms on the immediate horizon.
