NYC Brief Taste Of 70’s But Becoming Windy
Good morning everyone. We’re starting out cloudy today as expected, but sunshine is on its way, as well as the wind. Wind advisories have been posted for this afternoon and overnight as strong low pressure passes well to our north, then things will subside for a quiet Saturday.

Look for the chance of a few morning showers, then partial clearing will ensue. There will be a delay in the cooler air, and we’re going to go very mild today. We’ll have afternoon sunshine 70-75 degree temps, and SW winds sustained 15-25mph with gusts to 40-45mph. Overnight, we drop into the mid to upper 40’s, and those winds will continue onward.
Tomorrow is looking like a very nice day as those winds calm down, sunshine sticks around, and we’re in the low to mid 60’s throughout the entire area.
Our next system heads in on Sunday, with clouds, showery conditions, and highs 55-60. This will be the leading edge of cooler air heading in, but nothing cold.
Sunshine returns again for Monday, and we’ll start the Easter Break for kids in the 50-55 range with dry conditions. The remainder of the week looks decent, but not perfect. Tuesday looks dry and sunny, then some showers may visit Wednesday.
