NYC Chilly Nights Expected Next 48hrs

Good morning everyone. Much cooler conditions have moved in and clouds continue to stick around this morning as expected. We have 48-72hrs of these below average temps, then we get back to normal Friday, before going mild Saturday and Sunday for a perfect weekend.

Clouds will give way to some blue breaks as we head later into the day. Highs will range from the low to mid 50’s, then we go relatively chilly overnight. Expect near 40 temps in the NYC area for lows, with mid to upper 30’s away from the City.

We’ll go for a repeat tomorrow and Thursday, but temps won’t bottom out as much Thursday night. Look for 40-45 degree temps for lows overnight Thursday throughout the metro area.

WEATHER RADAR

Things settle down on Friday under more sunshine as we finally break 60, and lows will rise a little bit more into the mid to upper 40 range.

Saturday and Sunday are looking like perfection for late October, with 65-70 degree temps each day under full sunshine.

Depending on the timing of our next system and the positioning of our warm front, we could extend our mid to upper 60/near 70 conditions into next week and possibly mid-week. We will keep an eye on that, and also hone in on our Halloween forecast. As of now, my 90 yard toss is hanging in there, with upper 50 to mid 60 temps and dry conditions expected. Let’s see if it holds true.
