NYC Deep Summer Temps & Humidity Pay 4 Day Visit

Good morning everyone and welcome to real summer. We’re finally into some prolonged mugginess and very warm/hot temps, but peak temps only last for 2 days. We’ll have a hot one today and tomorrow, then we settle into humid mid to upper 80’s for the remainder of this forecast. Also look for the chance of some severe weather Friday evening/night, and afternoon strong storms Saturday & Sunday.

For the moment, we are quiet and hot. Aside from the air quality issues we’ve been dealing with for over a month, everything is looking rather mundane. Expect highs in the low 90’s today with sunshine throughout.

We’ll go for a repeat tomorrow, with more sunshine and highs in the upper 80’s to low 90’s.

WEATHER RADAR

We still remain very warm to hot on Friday as we go for muggy upper 80’s to near 90, but our next front is on the way. It won’t really deliver much as far as cooler and dryer air, but we may still see some strong to severe storms develop along the boundary come evening/overnight.

We’ll also have some leftover energy for the weekend with typical July conditions. Look for upper 80’s on Saturday with the chance of PM scattered showers and storms. Things “cool” of slightly on Sunday, with more of the same conditions and highs in the mid 80’s.

To start your workweek, we’ll have a repeat on Monday, then things settle down for Tuesday as things dry up but temps start to rise again. We could approach 90 again by mid-week and for a couple of days.
