NYC Hot Weather Continues Storm Threat Begins Tomorrow Night
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the 2nd day of 90’s in the area. As we watch this pattern unfold and our next system, we’re adjusting the scale a bit as it seems as if there won’t be much of a cool-down, even a minor one. We’re still expecting low 90’s to reappear mid-week next week, but we’re also keeping the upper 80’s to near 90 around before that. Meanwhile, thunderstorm action begins tomorrow, and the majority of that action remains inland till Sunday/Monday.
SATELLITE
For today, expect hazy, hot, and humid conditions with highs 90-95. Air quality alerts remain up with that haze.
Expect sun and clouds tomorrow, more muggy conditions, and the slight chance of a PM storm. Again, most of the action remains inland. Highs will be in the upper 80’s to near 90.
WEATHER RADAR
Sun and clouds remain for both Saturday and Sunday, each with the chance of PM storms. Sunday will be the better chance of storms as our boundary pushes further east from the Ohio Valley. Highs in the upper 80’s to near 90 and humid.
Look for more mugginess on Monday, with highs in the mid to upper 80’s and a chance of PM storms. Tuesday we creep up to upper 80’s to near 90, then those 90’s return for Wednesday.
