NYC Early Spring Pays 4 Day Visit
Good morning everyone. Our much anticipated mild air has arrived, and we should have a beautiful rest of the week. It won’t be 100% perfect in terms of wind, clouds, and temps, but we do have some bright spots along the way.

We start off with some clouds this morning as that milder air finishes the push, but our afternoon should be mostly sunny. Look for highs today in the upper 50’s to low 60’s, cooler at the immediate shore.

Tomorrow, high pressure drifts off of the coast in a not-so-friendly setup for 60’s to continue. However, we remain sunny, dry, and mild. Mid 50’s will be on the menu, which is still 5-8 degrees above average, and we rebound in a big way on Thursday.
Thursday remains our “warmest” day of the stretch, but we’ll need to increase those winds to pump the warm air in. This will be an issue at the immediate shore since breezy conditions off of cold water does not bode well for any attempt at 60’s. That being said, areas away from the shore are going to be very mild. Expect mid to upper 60’s in most spots away from the south shore of Long Island and Forks, with temps possibly hitting or breaking 70 west of the NYC area.
There’s a slight possibility that downtown Brooklyn and central Queens may get in on the 70 degree action if we get some extra sunshine.
Our cold front arrives Friday with more clouds and the slight chance of a shower, but it should hang back long enough to see low to mid 60 degree temps.
We return to reality this weekend, with sunshine and seasonably chilly temps.
