NYC GLOOM CONTINUES SUN PROSPECT VANISHES FOR TOMORROW
NYC GLOOM CONTINUES SUN PROSPECT VANISHES FOR TOMORROW – Good morning everyone! Things are looking not so great as we wake up to cloudy skies, fog, and drizzle. A big area of showers is heading just to the north of the NYC area and some of that rain trailing behind down into NJ and PA will eventually make it into our area. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 50’s with the threat of scattered showers essentially the entire day. Cloudy skies and widely scattered showers will remain overnight, with temps hardly dropping; lows in the upper 40’s.
Any chance of sun tomorrow has pretty much vanished as we find ourselves continuing in the maritime soup. As advertised yesterday, we would still reach the upper 50’s to low 60’s even with clouds and showers, but anything beyond that has disappeared with the easterly winds and thick clouds.
Wednesday we’ll have a dry day, with morning clouds and afternoon peaks of sun. Temps will remain in the mid to upper 50’s and it’ll feel warmer as fog and rain will be gone temporarily. Sun continues for Thursday and mid 50’s, but clouds will increase again with another system approaching for Friday.
Stay tuned for next weekend’s forecast as we possibly try and salvage it with a nice Sunday after some rain Saturday.
