NYC Gusty Rain Possible Wednesday
Good afternoon everyone. Quiet weather and comfortable warm conditions stick around the area through Tuesday. We’re watching the possibility of some tropical development off of the Carolina coast as Francine’s energy slowly transfers east along an old stationary front.
That’ll help spin off a wave of low pressure capable of tropical development into a depression or tropical storm. Regardless, even with no tropical designation, gale force winds, torrential rain, and rough surf, is likely along the North & South Carolina coast.
This energy will eventually head inland and into interior sections of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, sending some gusty showers our way for Wednesday. After everything clears out, sunshine returns with mild to warm temps and dry conditions.

For the rest of today, look for mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80’s. Near 80 temps and more sunshine is expected for tomorrow.
WEATHER RADAR
Monday and Tuesday are both quiet, albeit some increasing clouds late Tuesday. Both days look to be in the near 80 range.
Look of mostly cloudy skies Wednesday and Thursday with the chance of some scattered gusty showers. It’ll be muggy with mid to upper 70’s for highs. We’ll have some partial clearing on Friday with highs 75-80.
