NYC Gusty Showers Storms Possible Late Tonight
Good morning everyone. Clouds have already crossed the area, but we could see some blue breaks today regardless. That may add fuel to the fire though as a vigorous low spins off to our west, sending an elongated line of gusty showers and storms our way. Some of those storms may reach severe limits, especially off to our west, northwest, and down in the Mid Atlantic. After this, we settle into a cooler pattern overall with several areas of disturbed weather marching through.
SATELLITE
For today, expect the chance of a few gusty showers here and there and into he evening. The more organized line isn’t expected to come through until later tonight and into the overnight hours. Highs will be in the 65-70 range early, then fall through the 50’s as we go on.
Clouds and showers stick around tomorrow, but it’ll be more of the popcorn scattered variety. Upstate, we could see a few heavier echos, with some small hail possible. Highs will be 65-70.
WEATHER RADAR
More clouds stick around Monday with some blue patches, but a cooler pattern begins to set in. We’ll have the slight chance of some showers, highs 60-65.
Same goes for Tuesday temp-wise, but we dry things out and add extra sunshine. More sunshine is expected on Wednesday, and we’ll also do 60-65 again.
Clouds slip back in on Tuesday ahead of our next system, and highs will be in the low 60’s both Thursday and Friday with the chance of a few scattered showers.
