NYC Slightly Cooler Than Expected Next Three Days

NYC Slightly Cooler Than Expected Next Three Days

Good morning everyone. Although we may be slightly cooler than expected and have to adjust a couple of things, the big story remains the long range which is looking to be on the active/semi-active side. It’ll also help give us a cool-dominant pattern, with maybe a mild day here or there.

We adjust temps as the wind profile doesn’t work out and high pressure, plus our approaching system, are slightly off path-wise. This will help keep cooler air in the picture and we start off with today. Instead of 70-75 degree temps, look for a mix of sun & clouds with highs in the mid 60’s.

Tomorrow we are still on the mild side of things, but instead of 75-80 degree temps, expect 70-75 degree temps.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds come in earlier than expected on Saturday, and that’ll help hold things in the 65-70 degree range. If we can hold the clouds off a bit, maybe we will crack 70. Look for the chance of a few showers late, but overnight we will see heavy showers and possibly some gusty storms.

Clouds stick around Sunday with a few scattered showers; highs in the mid 60’s. Overnight we sink into the 40-45 range, and Monday to start your new workweek looks cool with upper 50’s to low 60’s.

In the long range we continue to see a series of low pressure systems, with a couple of them being possible prospects for coastal/near-coastal systems. If it pans out this way, we will be on the unseasonably cool side to round out April and the start of May.
