NYC Rain Finally Lifting North Sunshine Returns
Good morning everyone. Essentially the Northeast and New England have gotten some much needed rain with this soaking front and subsequent wave moving south to north. Things will clear out and we’ll have a pleasant rest of the day and cool week ahead.
SATELLITE
Rain leaves the area over the next 30-60 minutes, followed by clearing skies and highs in the mid to upper 60’s. We cool off into the 40-45 range tonight, then we’ll have sunshine and upper 50’s to low 60’s tomorrow with a steady NW flow.
WEATHER RADAR
Sunshine and upper 50’s to low 60’s/40-45 degree temps at night will dominate through Wednesday, then we’ll have increasing clouds Thursday with more upper 50’s to low 60’s. We’ll have the slight chance of a few scattered showers. Friday looks the same as Thursday, with maybe a period of steadier rain possible.
We’ll have another repeat on Saturday with more upper 50’s to low 60’s and the chance of a scattered shower; then a showery day possible on Sunday. We’ll keep an eye on that one since the potential is there for a washout activity-wise.
