NYC Heat Returns With Some Opportunities For Rain
Good morning everyone. We’re back and so are the 90’s, which may last till Thursday if we can keep the sun around before moisture increases across the area. Other than that, we have a relatively quiet forecast and not much is going on.
SATELLITE
Look for generally sunny to mostly sunny skies today, hot conditions with increasing humidity, and highs in the 90-95 realm.
REGIONAL RADAR
Expect a carbon copy day tomorrow, except we’ll introduce the slight chance of a storm. It’ll be very slight, with most of the widely scattered action remaining inland. Highs 90-95.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Wednesday is another hot one in the near 90/low 90 range, and we’ll up the chance for some showers and storms, but again, most of the action will be inland.
Thursday we may “cool off” a bit if the clouds dominate, but it’ll still be warm & humid with highs in the upper 80’s to near 90. If the sun decides to stick around longer, we’ll see near 90 to low 90’s again.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Friday will be our best chance of showers and storms as moisture increases along the east coast. We could also get a few small waves of low pressure going, enhancing the rain and the clouds. I don’t believe we see a washout from this, but look for showers and storms to come and go Friday through Sunday/Monday, and highs ranging from 85-90 (sunshine dependent).
