Good morning everyone & happy Sunday! As you may have noticed, our front swung through a tad bit earlier than expected yesterday, bringing with it, heavier storms than previously thought. As that from slammed into 90º temps and sunshine, a formidable line of storms formed with powerful winds and torrential rain. There was a price to pay, but comfortable weather resumes behind that front as hot weather reloads for late in the workweek.
For those with backyards and branches to clean up, you get to lick your wounds under sunshine, steady northwesterlies, and temps in the 80-85 degree range today. Lows drop into the upper 50’s to low 60s for a relatively comfortable night.
Cooler and more comfortable weather is expected tomorrow, with more sunshine and highs 75-80. Look for mid 80’s Tuesday for our last relatively comfortable day of the stretch. By Wednesday, we are back into the upper 80’s to near 90.
Things get a little toasty by Thursday, with humid conditions and highs in the mid 90’s. We could also see another round of strong to severe storms in the afternoon/eve. They won’t do much to cut the heat, as low 90’s return for Friday.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
