NYC Long Range Outlook Swings Seasonable

Good afternoon everyone. Today begins the cloudy segment of this stretch, and that’ll be the name of the game until Saturday. We have a few scattered light flurries and sprinkles around which will be of little significance, then we go near-seasonal tomorrow and Thursday. In the long range, we return to seasonable and more comfortable conditions Sunday onward.

Cold temps and cloudy skies are giving the area a raw feel today, and there are a few flurries and sprinkles on the radar. Most of the echos are false and not hitting the ground, but we could see a few flakes in the air or some light drizzle. Highs today in the mid to upper 30’s, and that’s about that.

F5 WEATHER RADARS

Clouds stick around tomorrow with the slight chance of some scattered AM light rain. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to near 50, but it’ll feel a bit raw with the clouds and light NE winds.

The best chance for any precip is Thursday, with some afternoon and evening rain expected. Highs near 50 will ensure this is all rain and not some epic snowstorm, but we might see some flakes mixed in on Friday as things come to an end and cold air aloft heads in. Highs in the low to mid 40’s Friday, with no accumulation expected.

Saturday we are brisk and sunny with mid 40’s, then temps modify on Sunday under sunshine and mid 50’s.

In the long range, expect a seasonable start next week, and we should carry mid to upper 50’s for several days without any threats at all of late season snow as we near the end of the month.
