NYC March Doing March Things
Good morning everyone. March is in full-swing, and it’s being very March-like for a very typically near-spring season. We have a beautiful 2 day stretch, then things become unsettled and cooler. Thus is March, so hold on for the wild swings it usually is.
SATELLITE
For Today, look for full sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 60’s (cooler at the shore). We could see a few 70’s pop west of the NYC area. Tomorrow, we could get a taste of 70 degree temps locally. Best chance to see it will be again west of the NYC area; but also central Queens, downtown Brooklyn, and areas north of the LIE in Nassau County.
WEATHER RADAR
For Wednesday, morning sunshine will give way to clouds and some scattered showers possible. Highs will be in the 60-65 range depending on how much sunshine we get. A warmer day than forecasted could sneak in if the clouds hold off. Our cold front nears on Thursday, and 60’s may drop into the 30’s and 40’s as precipitation is still in the area. If this happens, showery conditions could give way to a rain and snow mix. We’ll keep a close eye on it, but don’t expect anything of significance aside from the crying that we just had 70 degree temps two days prior.
Friday is sunny, breezy, and back to reality in the upper 40’s; and thus is March……..
