NYC Mild Taste Monday & Tuesday
Good morning everyone. The gloom remains locked into the area as foggy, gloomy, and drizzly conditions stick around through tomorrow. There is a brief glimmer of hope as the gears of spring throw a cog our way Monday and Tuesday, but things return back to reality thereafter. We still have plenty of chilly air left to go regardless of the few nuggets of gold here and there.
SATELLITE
Look for a foggy, cloudy, and cool day today; with temps hovering in the 45-50 range. We’ll have some showers overnight, then clouds and scattered showers tomorrow. Temps jump into a humid 60-65 range as milder air begins its temporary push.
WEATHER RADAR
Monday is a gorgeous day, with highs in the mid 60’s and sunshine. Look for cooler conditions along coastal sections. For Tuesday, the NYC area makes a run for 70 degrees. Depending on the wind profile, we might pull it off. Overall, I’m going to call for a 65-70 degree day, with the best chance to see 70 west of the NYC area. If we do pull it off, most likely you see the 70 mark somewhere along the north shore of Long Island, interior Queens, and downtown Brooklyn.
We’ll have the chance of some rain on Wednesday with the next storm system. Highs will be in the mid 60’s before dropping later in the day. Temps sink into the 55-60 range on Thursday with the chance of some more rain, then chilly conditions pay a visit on Friday under sun & clouds. Highs friday will be in the mid to upper 40’s.
