NYC Mild Weather Comes to an End
Good morning everyone. Mild to very mild conditions are about to come to an abrupt end after a bonus day today of more 70’s. A frontal system is approaching the area and with it, heavy rain and thunderstorms are off to our west. Best chance to see severe weather will be well off to our west in western and central PA/NY as the bulk of the energy goes well west and north the NYC area. We’ll also watch for the chance of some departing mix or wet snow on Thursday IF there is any moisture left as colder air rushes in.

For today, we’ll have morning sunshine and afternoon clouds and showers. Highs will be in the 70-75 range depending on how long the sunshine lasts; cooler at the shore. Gusty scattered showers, heavy at times, will grace us tonight; but again, the bulk of the energy goes west and north of us.
WEATHER RADAR
We might hit 60 tomorrow with more showers before temps abruptly drop through the 40’s and possibly into the 30’s. We’ll have to see if there’s any moisture left, but if there is and it’s around when the 30’s strike, we could see some departing mix or wet snow. Look for windy conditions Friday with highs in the mid to upper 40’s.
Saturday and Sunday are a split-decision sunshine-wise, but both days are seasonably cool in the low 50’s. Saturday is the sunny one, and Sunday will be mostly cloudy.
