NYC Mild Air Dominates Rainy Friday Ahead

NYC Mild Air Dominates Rainy Friday Ahead

Good morning everyone. We have a beautiful February day today and another one lined up for tomorrow. Our next system begins to head in on Thursday and then passes through on Friday with a very cold night behind it. Aside from that, we have nothing much going on, so let’s get to the forecast below.

Look for sunshine and mid 50’s today, then increasing clouds overnight ahead of that milder air. AM clouds will give way to sunshine tomorrow, and we should break 60 in many spots aside from the immediate shore. Look for a breezy upper 50’s to low 60’s, with maybe a few spots flirting with mid 60’s if the wind isn’t so bad.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds increase again on Thursday ahead of our next system, and we should see some showers later in the day. Look for more breezy conditions and highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. We could go a little higher if the sun cooperates and the precip holds off.

Our cold front swings through on Friday with windy conditions and rain, heavy at times. We’ll have highs in the 55-60 realm, so we won’t be breaking any records. Overnight will be the shock, with windy conditions and lows in the near 20/low 20 category.

Colder air hangs on for Saturday with sunshine, more wind, and highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. We recover rather quickly on Sunday, with more sunshine and highs in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.
