NYC MILD NOVEMBER START
Good morning everyone and happy foggy November! We’re off to a foggy start and middle today due to the milder air beginning its push into the area, and that’ll grace us for a decent stretch until the pattern goes the other way. My advice is to enjoy what we have, because it looks like some changes are on the way.
SATELLITE
Areas of fog will be with us through the afternoon, as well as some scattered drizzle. We’ll have highs in the mid 60’s, but a few areas that see some breaks could see some upper 60’s to around 70.
Sunshine returns tomorrow with near 70 temps throughout the area for a very pleasant day.
WEATHER RADAR
On Thursday, we “drop” into the mid 60’s as the mild air resets, then we get back into the upper 60’s to near 70 on Friday.
Our weekend continues to look mild, but we could have a “disappointment” or “surprise” in either direction as far as how mild we go, or how mild we fail to go. It’ll all depend on the southerly component and whether are winds are out of the south or the southeast. A southeast wind will keep us on the “cooler” side with near 70/low 70 temps. A more southerly component could boost us into the mid to upper 70 range. (obviously cooler at the shore).
We’ll keep an eye on it all, plus the prospect of cooler/cold air being pulled down from Canada mid-month.
