NYC Perfect Holiday Weekend Ahead Aside From Rough Inlets

NYC Perfect Holiday Weekend Ahead Aside From Rough Inlets

Good afternoon everyone. We continue to see our forecast unfold in a positive way and it is pretty much a lock for this weekend. We are expecting perfect May conditions as high pressure suppresses all of the goo well to our south, and the only minus will be the rough inlets and beaches due to a prolonged ESE flow/our coastal storm in the Southeast.

Sunshine and a breeze continues today. Mid 60’s is the best we’ll do today, but then we go much milder tomorrow.

Winds will settle down and sunshine prevails for tomorrow. Look for highs in the mid 70’s, slightly cooler along the immediate shore.

WEATHER RADAR

Sunshine remains on Saturday and Sunday, and we should see 75-80 degree temps throughout the area aside from the immediate shores again. Just keep in mind that a 2-4/3-5′ ground swell is expected due that coastal system and the squeeze going on, so inlets and beaches could be on the rough side even without any significant wind.

For Memorial Day the forecast holds as the nicest day of the bunch, with sunshine, dry conditions, and highs in the low 80’s (cooler at the immediate shore).
