NYC Quiet Pleasant Thanksgiving Then Unseasonably Chilly
Good morning everyone. We have another chilly one underway today, but a pleasant Thanksgiving ahead. Things are changing though pattern-wise, and unseasonably chilly air will become a dominant feature at least for the time being.

Sunshine rules today, but we’ll have steady winds and mid to upper 40’s for highs. Wind chills will help make it feel much colder, especially this morning till the wind tapers off a bit.
Tomorrow for Thanksgiving, the forecast is a winner. Expect more sunshine, increasing clouds very late, with highs in the low to mid 50’s. The increasing clouds is in response to our next cold front, and we’ll have showers moving in overnight.
WEATHER RADAR
Showers will continue early Friday AM, and we drop into the upper 40’s for highs. Those upper 40’s don’t last either as we continue to drop throughout the day. It’ll be a windy one as well, with 15-25mph sustained winds and gusts to near 35mph developing. Look for upper 20’s to near 30 overnight Friday night.
Unseasonably chilly air holds on tight, with useless sunshine and low 40’s for highs both Saturday & Sunday. Lows will also upper 20’s to near 30, maybe a touch “warmer” Sunday night under the blanket of increasing clouds.
