NYC RAIN DEPARTS EARLY SEASONABLE TEMPS PREVAIL – Good morning everyone! Rain has moved out for the time being and it should remain mostly dry, but cloudy for the rest of the day. Highs should make it into the mid 60’s, maybe a touch higher if some sun peaks through. Light northeast winds will help keep the clouds in the area, but also make it feel a little humid out.
Tonight, another batch of steady rain rolls in and should be with us until Friday mid to late morning. We may also hear a few rumbles of thunder out of this batch, but nothing severe is expected. Highs tomorrow will be a bit cooler than previously expected due to the maritime influence, but we should still be above normal with temps 65-70.
Saturday remains to look to be the nicest day of the weekend, with sun and clouds and temps in the low 60’s. On Sunday, clouds roll back in as we wait to see how close a system comes to us, possibly giving us some light rain. We’ll keep a close eye on this, as well as the prospect of warmer temps mid-week next week that may last for an extended period of time as a ridge tries to form.
