NYC SUNDAY FALL SLAM
Good morning everyone. Break out the sweatshirt and jeans for a much cooler than anticipated day here in the NYC area as November punches August in the face.
Weak low pressure is meandering to our south, pumping cooler air and thicker clouds into our area. There are also some scattered, slow moving showers around, which could visit the area from time to time. It’s definitely not a beach or bbq day, so stick to a lazy day inside or a trip to the mall. Highs 65-70 for most of the area.
The prospect of showers disappear tomorrow, but clouds stick around for another cool day. Look for clouds and sun, highs in the mid to upper 70’s. On Tuesday, we slowly recover into the low 80’s, then Wednesday will give us some front-related warmth with upper 80’s and the chance of storms.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Low to mid 80’s and comfortable conditions return for late week, then we slowly increase the humidity again next weekend. Things are starting to look a little more tame warmth-wise late August, but we could still have a couple of very warm to maybe hot ones thrown in there depending on the final wind profile and clouds/precip.
Labor Day Weekend continues to show some cool to very cool prospects.
