NYC SUNNY MORNING SURPRISE CLOUDS RETURN SOON
NYC SUNNY MORNING SURPRISE CLOUDS RETURN SOON – Good morning everyone! We woke up to a nice surprise with some morning sun, but clouds will return this afternoon for a mix of sun and clouds and a rather cool day. Along with the cloud cover is a slight chance of some showers, similar to what happened to us yesterday evening. We’re not talking a washout and also not everyone will see raindrops, highs near 60. Tonight, we dip into the low 40’s and areas N&W of the NYC area as well as typically cooler areas out on Long Island, may see some frost.
Tomorrow and Tuesday we again see a mix of sun and clouds, highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. We may also see a sprinkle or two when the cloud cover is thick at times. Temps return to the mid 60’s for mid to late week, but we’ll see the approach of another system come next weekend. We’ll have to see what the final path is for this system, but at minimum, we’ll see clouds return, easterly winds, and the chance of some scattered light rain.
In the long range, we are still seeing signs of a break in this cool pattern for the last 1/3 of May, but we’ll have to wait and see how long it stays and how warm we get.
