NYC System Parade Begins

NYC System Parade Begins

Good morning everyone. We are entering an unsettled period with a multitude of system expected over the next 2 weeks. Most of these will be of the rainy variety, but we will be watching the systems further down the road as things trend colder. In the meantime, system #1 brings rain and lagging clouds today through Saturday morning.

Rain is here and will be with us most of the day. The mild air is gone due to the lack of sunshine and favorable winds, so the rain will be a cold one with highs in the 40-45 range. Clouds and showers stick round tonight with lows only dropping a few degrees.

We’ll have some AM showers tomorrow and maybe some partial clearing late, but overall it’ll be a cloudy day. Look for highs in the mid to upper 40’s.

WEATHER RADAR

The weekend is looking like a split, with sunshine and upper 30’s tools 40’s Saturday; then increasing clouds Sunday with the chance of a few PM showers. Highs in the mid 40’s.

Overall we will be watching these systems as the pattern changes and goes a little bit colder. As of now it looks as if each system looks a little cold than the last, but that doesn’t mean NYC is going to get hit with any big snows. Let’s take things slow and one system at a time, maybe we can get one that tracks “right” for the snow lovers out there. (I’m not one of them)
