NYC Warm Day Tomorrow Then Gradual Cool Down
Good morning everyone. We have some volatility coming up with the forecast, which includes a brief warmup, a brief cool down, then a return to some more comfortable temps before we waver back and forth in the long range.

After some morning clouds today, we’ll see some sunshine as warmer air starts heading our way. Today won’t be the day as we hit the low to mid 60’s, but we go from seasonably cool/seasonable to warm tomorrow.
Much warmer air will sneak in, but it won’t make into the entire region. Look for wide temperature ranges tomorrow as the NYC area gets into the upper 70’s to low 80’s (cooler at the south facing shores and Forks of LI), to barely breaking out of the upper 50’s upstate and parts of New England.
We’ll introduce clouds and scattered showers on Thursday with mid 70’s, then sun & clouds and upper 60’s to low 70’s Friday.
May starts off on a cool note with low 60’s on Saturday, then we will gradually rise into the mid to upper 60’s Sunday. Some 70’s may return next week, but there are a lot of questions as far as systems getting hung up in the region. If this happens, expect some issues getting out of the upper 50’s to low 60’s again at some point during the first 1/3 of May.
We’ll keep an eye on that volatility, and hopefully the pattern breaks down for some more consistent mild/warm air.
